An exciting week in the Families.com Family Fun Blog has come to an end. This past week we welcomed back Jeff Bogle. He is back from a short hiatus and is eager to provide fun ideas for you and your family as we usher in autumn and eventually wintertime. With Jeff back in the fold and with Lauri continuing to offer her own amazing tips and ideas, the Fun Blog will be busting at the seams over the coming weeks and months!
Here’s a quick recap of the fun had during the prior week.
Jeff returned with a very cool craft idea for older toddlers and preschoolers learning to use scissors and work a glue stick. This artsy collage activity doubles as a terrific way to make use out of all those Holiday shopping catalogs. It is also a super creative way to send Santa a wish list.
Jeff was giddy about playoff baseball and recommends sitting down with your kids to watch the October classic (even if your team, like Jeff’s Phillies, has already been eliminated.)
Lauri cooks up a delicious and imaginative new twist on S’mores and talks about developing your own unique traditions as a family.
If you are planning any remodeling or wallpaper work in your home, you have to check out what Jeff and his family did just before demolition of their breezeway and garage began. Your kids will love this fun way to say goodbye to ugly walls or old rooms!
Getting out of town as a family is always fun, but can your gang manage without all the conveniences of modern life? Lauri’s crew had a blast and it sure sounds like a great time to me!
