Family Fun Week in Review

Over in Family Fun, we just keep dishing up the tasty treats, refreshing beverages and unique ideas for cooking with your kids. This week, we did stray a bit from the kitchen table to serve you ideas for a hilarious night of laughter with your kids and/or neighbors, for getting some use out of those kids’ book dust jackets and most importantly, some great ideas for giving back to our planet on Earth Day.

Nothing tastes better on a warm summer day than freshly squeezed lemonade. Lauri tells us that when your kids hand you a bag of lemons, you best make some lemonade.

Jeff reviews the wonderful new My A to Z Recipe Box for kid’s who love to work side by side with their parents in the kitchen.

Looking for a good laugh? How about some stand up comedy for kids? Jeff talks about his girl’s love of a good joke and all the fun stuff packed inside the great new book Mama’s Little Book of Tricks.

Jeff talks about his stash of brilliantly illustrated dust jackets and what he and his family plan to do with them in his girl’s new room.

Earth Day is April 22, 2007 (hey, that’s tomorrow!) and Lauri gives us a dozen ways to celebrate and teach our kids about nature, conservation and other Earth Day related activities and topics.

Finally, Lauri ends the week by filling our collective bellies with yummy strawberry shortcake (the food, not the doll).

You will never run out of fun ideas in the Families.com Family Fun section. Come back and see us again soon…and be sure to come hungry!
