Game Play:
Flash Point: Fire Rescue is a fully cooperative game, everyone plays on the same firefighting team – win or lose together! Every turn is filled with the tension of having to fight the fire back, rescuing victims or investigating points of interest. Players can ride the ambulance to safety or fire the engine’s deck gun in a desperate attempt to control the blaze. No two games are ever the same – and with three rule sets (family, & experienced) and 3 different difficulty levels there is a challenge to be had for all.
How did we like it on Family Game Night?
If you love a game that makes you put your strategic thinking caps on then this game is for you. The average time of play is 45 intense minutes. It is a great time for families to work and learn together. We enjoyed learning to play as much as playing. If you are like me and hate to read long directions, then you may be assisted by the video on the game’s website. It helped me to see it visually.
We played with everyone including my little three year old. The game says all ages and really you can include anyone you want. It is a cooperative game and if you want to adjust it for the whole family than feel free. My three year old was told to put out the fire so she held her firefighter game piece proudly, pointed it directly at the chip on the board with fire on it, and made water “sushing” sounds. That worked for us! The rest of us worked diligently to succeed. A fun and intense way to bring a family together.
