Farrah Fawcett Back in Hospital and Michelle Obama Back on TV–Maybe

Farrah Fawcett is facing yet another setback in her long battle against cancer.

According to reports, the 62-year-old former “Charlie’s Angels” star is back in a Los Angeles hospital. Several papers are reporting that the actress was admitted Thursday with complications associated with cancer.

The TV star was first diagnosed with the insidious disease in 2006 and has undergone chemotherapy and aggressive experimental treatments in the years since. Fawcett received good news when her cancer went into remission several months after her initial diagnosis, but the disease returned in 2007 leading the beauty to seek alternative treatments in Germany.

Fawcett’s rep has yet to confirm reports that the disease has spread.

On a lighter note, Alec Baldwin is desperately trying to entice First Lady Michelle Obama to make an appearance on his hit comedy “30 Rock.”

The actor claims he will “do anything” to have President Barack Obama’s wife to guest star on the NBC sitcom.

Baldwin recently told reporters: “I would like Michelle Obama on 30 Rock. The President is on TV every day, all day. So we want to get something different.”

Don’t think Baldwin can pull it off?

He might not be able to, but he says he will die trying. In fact, the tenacious actor says he has already come up with the perfect storyline for Obama, which includes her becoming a potential love interest for his character, Jack Donaghy.

Baldwin says, “I think my character falls in love with Michelle Obama, of course. You know, if it doesn’t work out with Barack…”

If the first lady agrees to the hook up she will join the ranks of celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Jerry Seinfeld, who have all appeared on the award-winning show.
