She’s used to designing hot outfits for Hollywood heavyweights, but now fashion designer Cynthia Rowley is aiming to please a younger set of fashionistas.
The famed designer and mother of two is teaming up with the popular Graco baby company to create a limited number of strollers. Rowley has pimped your kid’s ride with a fashionable fruit design. Its official name is the Cynthia Rowley “Be Fruitful” design and it is available for $300.
What do you think of that price tag? Perhaps, you’ll like it more when you find out that Rowley’s foray into the stroller design business is to help support Graco’s Fashioning the Future campaign, which gives all net proceeds to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Take a look at the stroller here and if you decide you want one so your child can ride in style you need to act fast. Only 1,000 of the Rowley designed strollers exist.
If you are looking for a stroller that is less fashionable and more functional then consider checking out Mountain Buggy Strollers. Some of Hollywood’s most famous mommies, including Jennifer Garner and Julia Roberts have been photographed strolling their bundles of joys around L.A. in them. So what makes the strollers so popular among A-list moms? The company says its strollers are more versatile than traditional strollers. Mountain Buggy strollers push with ease on city sidewalks and glide just as easy through rough terrain (hordes of paparazzi, perhaps). The strollers also boast a generous basket large enough to carry groceries, toys, or a diaper bag. The stroller’s seat reclines nearly flat and the entire frame folds so compactly it can fit in the overhead compartment on an airliner. It comes in a rainbow of colors and is also offered in single, double and triple. Prices range from $430 to $970. Click here for details.
