Wouldn’t it be glorious if we could always burn more calories than we take in? Unfortunately, that’s not often the case. There are, however, certain foods that have been found to be “fat burning.” This means that these foods, which not surprisingly are mostly comprised of fruits and vegetables, are thought to burn more fat than other foods. There is also the myth that these foods burn more calories than they are comprised of when you chew them.
My advice? Take this list with a grain of salt (no pun intended) and use your common sense to eat a well-balanced diet that is high in nutrients, vitamins, and “good for you” foods. Avoid foods high in starch, fat, and sugar.
