Father’s Day and More for June

Wow! Is it June already? It will be tomorrow, and that means school is out or soon will be, and the first day of summer is sneaking up on us. Even before that is Father’s Day, so I guess that means it’s about time to start working on Father’s Day gift projects here in Kid’s Crafts.

Even if the kids are already doing something at school, they will probably enjoy making another gift for Dad. You might want to look through the Mother’s Day gift projects too, since some of them will work for Dad as well, such as the coupon project or the personalized sign project.

I’ll begin posting Father’s Day ideas tomorrow and keep them coming right up until the big day arrives, but I’ll also sprinkle a few other crafts and activities in there too, since many kids are getting out of school and will be looking for stuff to do.

Finding ideas for dads was a little tougher than coming up with ideas for moms (being a mom myself), but I think you’ll like some of these projects. I know Dad will love them since they will be made with lots of love.

I hope you will enjoy the other ideas as well, and I hope they will provide lots of adventure for your children. My challenge this summer is to help parents find ways to prevent their children from using those dreaded words, “I’m bored.” Having four children of my own, I take this challenge seriously!

Some projects are simple crafts while others involve getting together with friends, family, and neighbors. There will also be games, relays, educational stuff, and birthday party ideas. Before you know it, it will be time to start working on stuff for Fourth of July, so I hope you are ready for some red, white, and blue craft project ideas too.
