Fergie, aka Stacey Ferguson, always dreamed of a white wedding and last night her fantasy became reality when she married actor Josh Duhamel surrounded by thousands of white blossoms.
According to reports, the 33-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer exchanged vows with her 36-year-old hunk of a boyfriend under magnolia trees filled with thousands of white roses at an exclusive Malibu estate.
PEOPLE magazine reports that Fergie donned a form fitting Dolce & Gabbana gown and carried a bouquet of white flowers studded with crystals. Meanwhile, ten bridesmaids were decked out in midnight black gowns.
The couple reportedly exchanged rings engraved with personal messages. Fergie’s diamond studded wedding band is said to match her specially-designed engagement ring, which features a 4-carat brilliant cut diamond set amid other diamonds. Duhamel’s ring is reportedly made of white gold with a brushed finish.
After the ring exchange, the couple and their famous guests (including Kate Hudson, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock, Slash, members of Black Eyed Peas including will.i.am, and Duhamel’s “Las Vegas” costars James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil) retreated to tents that were decorated as a forest of trees, with ceilings covered in lights.
Last night’s wedding followed a week of parties, including a joint bachelor-bachelorette shindig and a Hawaiian-themed rehearsal dinner on Friday.
Taking notes of the elaborate affair was “CSI: Miami” star Eva La Rue, who is currently planning her own wedding to businessman Joe Cappuccio.
The 42-year-old actress, who has been married twice before, vowed never to wed again, but she says she changed her mind after meeting Cappuccio.
La Rue is reportedly planning a destination wedding on a Mexican beach in June with about 40 guests. While she has her wedding venue set, the actress reveals that she hasn’t had much luck finding the perfect gown.
“I want one that’s long but not too poufy,” La Rue told In Style magazine. “But I haven’t had a chance to go shopping yet.”
Maybe Fergie will loan La Rue hers.
