There comes a point in every Summer vacation where people find themselves to be completely and utterly bored. When that happens, you are going to need to find something to entertain yourself with. Fortunately, there are a lot of deals on things designed to entertain you.
Personally, I happen to be having an incredibly busy Summer this year. I think the last time I had a completely lazy, idle, relaxing Summer must have been when I was a young child. It’s lovely to have hours and hours of free time, to do whatever your heart desires, for days and weeks on end.
There is a downside to having more free time than you know what to do with, however. Eventually, you are going to run out of stuff to do. It is absolutely tragic when your Summer vacation stops being fun, and becomes a long, slow, struggle with ennui. When that happens, it is the perfect time for you, or for your family, to find something fun to entertain themselves with.
Do you use an android phone? Get yourself some free apps to play with from Amazon.com. Every day, they feature a different “Free app of the day”. Today, July 10, 2011, the free App is called “Paper Glider”. It is a game where you have to try and fly a paper airplane as far as you can, before it crashes.
Another great place to find free Apps is at FreeAppADay. They feature apps for iPhone, iPad, and android. The free iPhone app featured there today is called “Robosockets: :Link Me Up”. It is something like tetris, with a twist. The free iPod featured app is called “Subrats HD”. You might think of it as an updated version of Frogger, but with rats. The android free app for today, July 10, 2011, is called “Holy Bible”. It gives you access to several different versions of the Bible, including versions printed in foreign languages.
Those particular free apps are available for today only. Tomorrow, there will be different ones instead. So, if you didn’t get there in time to grab today’s free apps, don’t worry. There will be more offered each day.
