Find It Games Presents Pieces of History

Find It Games are among my favorite games for children. I love the concept of a game they can play that encourages critical thinking, paying attention and a game they can play on their own or with a friend. My children love to shake up a Find It Game and find a few items here and there. It is the kind of game you keep on your desk or close by for fun or as a boredom buster. So when Find It Games came out with a puzzle I knew I would be intrigued. What could they possibly do with a puzzle combined with history?

What is Pieces of History: The Parade of Animals?

Before Noah gathered the animals there was a world of creatures to behold. In this beautiful artwork commissioned from painter Rachel Land is a vivid image of animals from across the globe from pandas to koalas. Throughout the 300 piece puzzle are icons hidden within the scenery. Can you find Gold Dust Day Gecko or Fox or Salmon? The beautifully detailed key of animals explains the significance of each found object. Once play is done, consider framing the handsome piece of art. ~ Find It Games

In addition to The Parade of Animals you can chose ON Dry Ground which captures the crossing of the Red Sea or Pharaoh’s Egypt which pictures the day in the life of the Egyptians along the Nile. Both puzzles challenge you to find icons through the puzzle. Each puzzle contains a sheet with the icons and the historical significance or facts of each icon.

For $13.00 you cannot go wrong as a gift for just a fun family activity. If you love history and puzzles like my family then this is for you. The puzzle is just beautiful and putting it together along with exploring history is the masterpiece.
