First Dates – Let’s Get Creative

The end of the month seemed like a great time to start about new beginnings. First dates are among the best because they are all about getting acquainted and discovering each other. So while most married couples have long since had their first date – it never hurts to have that first date one more time. So let’s talk about some first date ideas.

  • Lunch dates are great because they have a certain time frame, usually taking place in the middle of the day and you have an hour to chat and eat; it’s also a great time to check out a new restaurant or location you’ve been curious about
  • A weekend day spent at the zoo, starting in the morning when you are both fresh – the zoo is a great place to walk, holding hands and getting to know each other or just stroll together and talking about all the things you encounter
  • Check out the local hot spots whether it’s a comedy club, a piano bar or more, if you enjoy billiards look for a billiards bar – the great thing about bars is while they serve alcohol, you don’t have to drink alcohol, they’ll serve pretty of other soft beverages as well
  • Dinner dates at a buffet or small intimate restaurant are ideal because you can huddle together at the table and talk, but there’s a definitive beginning and ending to the evening
  • Miniature golf or other physical activities are another great way to spend a first date, you automatically have something to do and to talk about while you fumble through date conversation

What did you go and do on your first date?
