Fit Bugs Check in Here

Here’s a great site that can help you plan your own fitness routines and measure your progress. MyFitbug.com is dedicated to helping people like you and me. It helps you track activity and it even measures what activity is aerobic and how much it burns. Myfitbug.com also offers online personalized support and encouragement.

What I like about the system is that it offers all of us plenty of options and options are very important to getting your fitness to where you want it to be. Right now, we walk an average of 26 miles per week less than we did 20 years ago. We eat bigger portions. We live less and less healthy a lifestyle.

We have to choose to live a healthy, fit lifestyle – we don’t do it naturally anymore. What makes operations like myfitbug.com worth it is that they aren’t there to provide a rigorous workout regime. They are there to help us find the one that will work for us.

They help inspire us to make those healthy lifestyle changes and to maximize the benefits of exercise and dieting. So whether you choose to use a service like this or you choose a personal trainer or you just do it yourself with the support of friends and family — the point is to do it.

We need to start living better, healthier lives – not just for ourselves, but also for our kids and our families and the future. We live longer, but for the first time in a century – our lifespan isn’t expanding, it’s actually diminishing and our lack of fitness is directly associated with it.

Check out myfitbug.com and if it works for you – give it a shot. I’ll keep pitching balls here to see if something sticks.
