Fitness Magazine has come to their second month of their You Can Do It Challenge! Have you been participating? I have. I’ve been enjoying the exercises, the articles and the information they are sharing. They’ve even got prizes and awards to help motivate you and overall, I think Fitness Magazine is one of the best fitness resources out there for men and women alike.
What do I like about Month 2’s challenge?
The second month’s challenge includes balance ball exercises and since the balance ball or stability ball as some people call it is one of my favorite exercise tools — well, I’m all for that. The exercises are well described and they provide photographs for demonstration.
There are guiding tips for different goals and websites where you can log in and track your own progress. If you are looking for weight loss, stress reduction or simple endurance toning – they’ve got something for everyone.
My Progress
I’ve been working out regularly, following their suggested routines. I’ve been tracking my progress with their tools and I can say, with some small minor exceptions – that the stress reduction and creating more time tips have definitely come in handy. I’ve enjoyed having a couple of hours to myself and I’m getting more time to work on other projects with my daughter and less time spent worrying about the work that needs to be done.
Challenges are fundamental
When it comes to fitness, challenges are fundamental to getting started on a fitness program. Challenges motivate. Challenges engage your mind and your body. Challenges get you moving. Challenges are a way to discover how much fun you can have with fitness as you compete against yourself.
