Fitness Test

Did I mention that there would be a test today? No? So sorry. This test is optional, of course, but it’s a great way to help you get motivated for the Spring Forward to Action Challenge that starts on April 2nd. So if you have a few minutes, take the following quiz and test yourself.

Use these score numbers for your answers to the following questions:

Always 4
Almost Always 2
Sometimes 1
Never 0

Exercise/Fitness

  • I engage in moderate exercise such as brisk walking or swimming for 20 to 60 minutes, three to five times a week.
  • I do exercises to develop muscular strength and endurance at least twice a week.
  • I spend some of my leisure time participating in family, individual or team activities (gardening, bowling, softball, volleyball)
  • I maintain a healthy body weight and avoid being over or under weight.

Total your score.

If your score is 9 to 10 – then you can rate your fitness knowledge about exercise as excellent. Keep up the good work.

If your scores are 6 to 8 – your fitness and exercise practice are good, but you could use some improvement.

If your scores are 3 to 5 – your fitness and exercise need improvement for sure.

If your scores are 0 to 2 – you may have health risks associated with serious lack of exercise.

Are you satisfied with your scores? If not, check out the Spring Forward to Action Challenge that starts on April 2nd. Review previous posts here in the Fitness and Exercise blog to build your plan.
