Five Ways to Make Nursing Easier

As if we can’t come up with more information on nursing and making it easier. Let’s talk about some things that can definitely make your life an easier place to be when you are nursing and on the go as most moms are.

  • Braless is hardly a comfortable option, but nursing bras can be darn hard to snap and unsnap one handed. Check out a bra that has snaps so you don’t have to worry about eyelets or hooks
  • Invest in some cover-ups so that you can nurse anytime, anywhere. While your modesty isn’t always an issue, it can be a lot of fun to pick out different style, color and types of cover ups.
  • Invest in a baby sling, some slings are more comfortable than others, but when you and your little one are pros at nursing, the sling can let them nurse while your hands are free to multitask other jobs including feeding yourself!
  • Speaking of feeding yourself, avoid sitting in a booth at a restaurant. Many of them do not allow you to sit comfortably and nurse, a chair is much better and it allows you to sit back and nurse more freely – don’t forget to eat – the point of going to a restaurant is to eat and not just for the midget
  • Finally, if your baby is hungry and you’re out an about, find a comfortable spot, slip on the cover up and let your baby nurse – you never forget your breasts at home and they are always the right temperature for your little one to nurse
