Flat Ab Tips

Though diet and exercise will reduce your body size there are more tips to get those flat abs that every girl (and guy) are after. If you are dieting, but are still finding that the stubborn “pouch” will not disappear here are some things that will help you to accelerate it’s bon voyage.

Water: Even though it may seem like you are puffier after drinking a lot of water you are actually doing your body good. Water helps to flush the body out. This will reduce the bloating in the end. Drink eight or more glasses of water every day. You can also drink no cal or low-cal drinks. Soda is not recommended. Many foods also contain a great deal of water, which will provide you with some of this requirement.

Fiber: Eating 25 grams or more of fiber every day will help to get those gorgeous abs. However, spread it out throughout the day to avoid that gassy feeling.

Stress: When you are under stress your body is more apt to release a hormone that increases your appetite. This hormone, cortisol, helps to promote fatty deposits to accumulate around the organs in your belly. This, in turn, causes an increase in cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

Sodium: We all know that a high level of sodium does not promote a healthy atmosphere for your system. Sodium can cause havoc with your blood pressure, as well as other bodily functions. Increased amounts of sodium will leave you with that bloated feeling. Some things that are high in sodium are soup and TV dinners. Some food lines give you the choice of the same product only in a low sodium version, such as Healthy Choice and other no sodium or low sodium products.

Instead of focusing on diet tips that some will tend to do while their dieting and then quickly put to the back burner when they have lost their desired amount of weight, consider practicing these choice as a way of healthy living. You are more likely to maintain any weight loss that you have accomplished long after the weight comes off.
