Today was my first visit to Entrepreneur’s web site, and I must say, I am impressed. From their Mompreneur Center that has inspiring stories and excellent advice pieces to their Home Office Savings Center that offers money saving tips and strategies, this web site is packed with quality information for those of us who are living the entrepreneurial life, and those who are curious about starting their own business.
I could have stayed on the site for hours; there were just so many interesting things to read. Since I have been feeling a little blah about work lately, I decided to check out the Mompreneur Center. In no time at all, I found a great article that helped me to feel a little better because it reminded me that other entrepreneurial mamas out there that face the same challenges that I do every day. Even the most talented and successful entrepreneurs out there say that they constantly struggle to keep a balance between work and life, and reading about that helped me to be okay with the fact that some days, I do not achieve anything close to balance in that area.
As tempted as I was to keep reading article after article about business success stories, I looked at what other things the site has to offer. I found a lot of great content, from finance information to how-to guides and tech tips. As I was reading, I realized that I have been spending so much time in the day to day activities of my businesses that I have not been reading about business, or taking time to think about fresh ideas or look for tips on how to do things better. I think that taking time to do that will help me to do my very best work, so I plan to set aside a little time each week for it.
