4th Grade Reading Lists
Before I introduce you to the recommended books for the 4th grade, I want to share a little tip that will help you know if your child is reading a book that is too advanced for their reading level. Take a book and open it to the middle. Select any passage and have your child begin reading. For every reading mistake your child makes hold up one finger, if you find that you hold up more than five fingers, consider that the book is too difficult for your child’s current reading level. The five-finger rule is a great tip that will help you determine your child’s reading level no matter what the reading topic or subject is.
