FREE ADVICE
Current Dancing with the Stars contestant Marissa Jaret Winokur didn’t have to pay a dime for advice from Dancing alum Jane Seymour. Which works out well since it’s not worth much. (At least in my opinion.)
Seymour says she is one of Winokur’s biggest fans despite the fact that the Tony Award winner is “small, full figured and doesn’t have natural extension.”
Was that a compliment?
“Yet,” Seymour goes on to say (here’s the compliment part), “She’s out there looking like a princess.”
And Seymour’s advice to the former Hairspray star: “Prove everyone who doubts you wrong. Go out there a be the best dancer you can be.”
Ohh-kay.
But the 57-year-old former ballerina didn’t stop there. When asked about top-scorer Kristi Yamaguchi, Seymour told reporters she thinks the former Olympic figure skater’s lines are “just exquisite.”
BUT
“To me, that’s what she won the gold medal for — being able to spin and turn and do unbelievable things.”
Ironically, that’s what Seymour was trained to do as a ballerina as well, only she didn’t get nearly as many 10s as Kristi.
Hmmm…
