Free razors! I remember when I first started shopping at CVS, getting free razors seemed like such a big deal. Now, I know that it is a regular thing if you stick with CVS for long!
Hopefully, you haven’t thrown out the coupons from this week’s paper. In the Procter & Gamble coupon insert from December 2nd, there is a coupon for $4 off 1 Gillette Fusion. Clip that out!
In this week’s CVS ad (back page), it advertises that you can buy a Fusion for $9.99 and earn $6 Extra Bucks. That would make your cost $3.99 – BUT you’ve got your coupon for $4, which makes this razor free! (Well, technically, they’ll be paying you $.01 – ok, even more technically, you’re actually paying them sales tax. But whatever it is, it’s very close to free.) Limit of one deal per card number.
The great thing is that the CVS ad even has a little orange circle by the deal pointing out to “look for coupons in Sunday’s paper” – they love for you to get free razors as much as you do.
The razors that qualify are regular, power, or phantom. Power razor, by the way, only means that it has a little battery inside and you can turn it on so it vibrates. It’s not an electric razor in the sense like a Braun or Norelco. Does anybody actually prefer the silly power razor? It doesn’t seem to do anything helpful for shaving. The only use we’ve found for it is that the kids really love turning things on that vibrate. Of course, when the object you’re talking about is a razor, that’s probably not a good thing! Please make sure to remove the blade top before giving this as a toy to your child. 😀 Oh, and the Phantom razor is just a marketing ploy. I’m pretty sure the only difference between it and the Power is that it is black.
This particular deal is also advertised for NEXT week’s ad. It is a separate deal, so if you are able to get a second coupon, then you can do it once this week (12/2-12/8) and once next week (12/9 – 12/15). Have fun saving and shaving!
