Choose what items the cartoon child in the game will wear for Halloween by dragging them over to the figure and dropping them. The game helps kids use their imagination and creativity as well as develop motor skills.
Spooky Cookie is free for Android devices and for Kindle. This is another kid-friendly Halloween game. You get to bake, decorate, and sell Halloween cookies. Or, you can eat the virtual cookies if you want to. Selling them earns you some coins which can be used to unlock more of the game. This free version does contain advertisements. (If that bothers you, there is an ad free version, with the entire game unlocked, for $0.99).
Halloween Dance Party is another free app for Android. It is a Halloween themed memory type game that in some ways resembles the game Simon. Match the correct pattern, and your Halloween creeps will dance. The game gets more difficult the longer you play.
Halloween Games is a collection of free Halloween themed games for Android. This one is definitely kid-friendly, and is geared for preschoolers. It includes a memory game where you try and match cards, a jigsaw puzzle, a scratch game and a connect the dots. When the last dot is connected, the app will fill in the object with a detailed cartoon image of the thing that the child just traced.
Villagers Vs. Vampire Free is the free version of this app for Android. It is a type of puzzle game that in some ways sounds like Plants Vs. Zombies. Reggie the vegetarian vampire is being besieged by angry villagers. You need to create paths, match tiles, and collect items to help him defend his castle. Collect coins to buy upgrades and bonuses in the store. There is no timer on the game, so you can play as long as you like.
Halloween Screamscape Live Wallpaper Free is the free version of this app for Android. It is a Halloween themed screensaver that scrolls through different Halloween scenes. If you like it, there is a $0.99 version that allows you to access more.
