Magazines, who doesn’t love them? Many have coupons and promotions that help save money on all areas of our lives. They are filled with wonderful ideas on how to make life more enjoyable. What could make magazines any better? Getting them for free, of course. Here’s a bunch I have found recently.
Cosmopolitan is offering 4 free issues at startsampling.com. With this magazine, you don’t have to worry about billing or canceling. They will only send you the four issues.

I have already mentioned this one in Deals on Maternity Clothing, but I think it deserves rementioning. American Baby is a great parent magazine for families with new babies.
Here’s one for my northern readers. Transworld Snowboarding is offering a free nine issue, one year subscription. Like other Start Sampling offers, you don’t have to worry about billing or canceling.
Health and Wellness Remedy Life is offering a three year subscription. With this promon, you will also receive free samples of various products.
This next one is a little tricky. For a free subscription to Wondertime, Cookie, or Family Fun you have to create a “birthday” registry at Onestepahead.com. Add a toy to the registry, not the cart. When you do this, you should see a pop-up window offering the subscription. Click which magazine you want and sign up.
Living the Country Life is giving away free three year subscriptions. It is geared towards people who live in the country with a lot of acreage but it has a lot of landscaping and gardening ideas too.
Legos is sending out a free two year subscription to their magazine. My two year old loves looking at this even though he can’t read.
At www.lowpricesubs.com they change their promotions consistently. At the time of writing, Latina Magazine was being offered for free. They have some great promotions going on right now. They currently have Woman’s Day listed for $2.00 for a 17 issue subscription. Bridal Guide Magazine is $3.00 for 6 issues. Elle Magazine is $4.00 for 12 issues. Everyday with Rachel Ray is $4.00 for 10 issues. The list goes on and on so check out their website. You must pay for the subscriptions through Paypal. Use coupon code JULY to receive 20% off your entire order. This offer expires July 31, 2008.
When you are done reading your magazines, consider paying it forward by donating them to a local hospital or nursing home. They will help others pass the time as they wait and you will be recycling. You can also contact your local preschools and scout troops. They might be able to use them in art projects.
