Free Pasta Sauce Or A Full Refund

Mmmm, the title alone is enough to make me hungry. Being of Italian heritage, I am very partial to pasta sauce. In fact, I just used a large jar and-a-half of pasta sauce for the lasagna I made for dinner tonight. Yes, I know that making sauce from scratch is wonderful, but nearly impossible while I’m a mom of young ones. Using jar sauce is a shortcut that allows me to make dinner quickly with three kids underfoot.

Campbell’s, the makers of Prego pasta sauce are offering a free jar of their sauce, up to a maximum value of $3.35. it is part of their new promotion, “Prego Nil, Nada, Nothing-to-Lose Challenge.”

You must first buy a jar of sauce and save the register receipt. Then go to the offer page and click on “print form.” A PDF form for this offer will download. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download and read the form. A link to download the reader for free is provided.

Fill out the form, selecting whether you want to receive a coupon for a free jar of sauce, or a full refund (for your purchase price, up to $3.35).

Prego seems pretty sure that you will take the coupon. That seems like the better deal to me, especially if you are a savvy shopper and use coupons and sales. I have never paid anywhere near $3.35 for a jar of Prego sauce, so to me, the free jar would be worth more. For example, I could combine the free jar coupon with a buy one get one free promotion at the grocery store and get two jars of sauce for free! What do you think?

The offer is good now until March 31, 2007 and is good until supplies last.

The offer page also has a recipe for a meatball parm hero that can be printed, and a link to other recipes using Prego sauce.
