Once again, our three Frugal Living bloggers, filled the blog with over twenty five articles packed with money saving tips and advice. If you you have not visited the Frugal Blog lately, you really should!
Monday April 23rd
Once again, we started off our week with several terrific articles. Mary Ann gave us Save Money Now! Living Frugally in 10 Minutes or Less, which provides some easy to do tips, to save money with very little effort! She also asked What Did You Pay For Milk In April? which takes a look at the rising costs of milk. These articles are always informative and help you take a good look at what you are spending from month to month. Again, I offered up my Week In Review for April 16th to April 22nd, as well as How to Find the Best Spring and Summer Sales on Food and Really Save, which offered information on the best times per year to purchase seasonal food items! Traci gave us great information and told us to Enjoy a Classic Movie and a Frugal Family Night.
Tuesday April 24th
In Save Money Now! More Living Frugally in 10 Minutes or Less, Mary Ann gives more great tips following her other article. In How to Find the Best Fall and Winter Sales on Food and Save Money, more great information for seasonal food finds was given.
Wednesday April 25th
In Storing Staples: Flour, Mary Ann offers up some great advice for proper storage to ensure longevity of your flour. I wrote about Frugal Shopping: When to Shop For New Appliances. There are certain months, that different items go on sale or are at a hefty discount. These are the times to shop. With the gas prices continuously rising, I gave you Five Tips to Save Money on Rising Gas Prices. This is not the only article, I will be doing plenty more in the month of May!
Thursday April 26th
Properly storing items, can save loads of money and Mary Ann shows you how in Storing Staples: Eggs. I again, talked about shopping in Frugal Shopping: When to Shop for New Clothing. I followed that article with Another Five Ways to Save Money on Rising Gas Prices, adding to the several I gave the day before. With the cost of gas at an extreme high, you must read them. Traci popped in with an excellent article, asking the question Are You Willing to Spare a Square to Save a Buck? – a great read about the quite controversial recent quote by Sheryl Crow.
Friday April 27th
Finishing off the long work week, Mary Ann gave us another great storage article Storing Staples: Milk. In Frugal Shopping: When to Start Home Improvement Projects and Save the Most, I explained the best months to do certain Home Improvement projects and purchase different supplies. Traci wrote Being Generous on a Budget – Part two – You Don’t Need to Spend a lot, to Give a Latte. She also asked Do You Have a Frugal “Do”? where she explains how she saves money with her hairstyle.
Saturday April 28th
Beginning our wonderful weekend, Mary Ann taught us How to Store Hand Me Downs, because nobody can pass up free clothes! She also gave us an article, titled Freezer Soup is Free, where she gives us great directions to make a very easy leftover soup! Yum! I gave you another article on saving money on kitchen items, Frugal Shopping: When to Get the Best Savings on Kitchen Items. Traci, once again, in her awesome style, wrote two articles: Being Generous on a Budget Part Three – Thirsty for Kindness and Need a Little Fun Money? Donate Plasma.
Sunday, April 29th
Ending our whole week, Mary Ann wrote Reusing Tin Cans, showing you how to reuse all those little cans we seem to have so many of. She also wrote Pretty Nails: Save $500 a year. An excellent article giving tips on saving money on your nails. I wrote Frugal Shopping: When to Get the Best Deals on Sports and Other Outdoor Hobbies, which provides an excellent breakdown of when it is best to purchase all sorts of items.
