Did you have a good Valentines Day? I hope you enjoyed it. Now, after all of the flowers, candy and jewelry has been given and received, you may find yourself with a flurry of leftover tissue paper. Don’t throw it out! Here are some great frugal uses for that tissue paper.
Make them into tissue paper flowers. This is probably one of the easiest and nicest uses for leftover Valentine tissue paper. All of the pinks, whites and reds that are leftover will make beautiful tissue paper flowers.
Tear the tissue paper into little squares and use them to decorate a votive candle holder. The votive holder will look so pretty when the candle is lit and the light shines through. I have done this before and given them as pretty home made gifts.
You can save the leftover tissue paper and use it to wrap gifts. You can use the tissue paper in place of wrapping paper, tying the package with ribbon, or you can use the tissue paper to stuff gift bags.
Wad up pieces of tissue paper and use it to create craft projects. You can glue the wads on paper like a collage, or dip them in craft paint and use them to “sponge” paint some artwork.
Draw an outline on paper. Then tear the tissue paper into pieces and use it to fill in the design for a stained glass look. If you use wax paper or onion paper, you will preserve the light opaqueness. Then you can hang your picture in a window and let the light shine through.
Use the tissue paper in your scrap booking layouts. We have some pretty sparkly paper that we received yesterday, and it will look very nice, I think.
What other uses can you discover for leftover tissue paper?
