In a recent article, I discussed the Plumping Lip Glaze by e.l.f. which is only $1.00 and considered to be one of the best lip glosses on the market. Well, you really should know about the rest of the product line.
I first discovered e.l.f. makeup when I was buying mascara, lipstick, and eyeliner for my daughter’s first play. Since she was only 10 years old at the time, I wasn’t going to spend a fortune of something that she was going to use once and probably lose. Even if she did not lose it, by the time she needed it again, the mascara would have had to be trashed.
So I went to target and looked through their clearance section in the makeup department. (Every target has several clearance sections or end caps.) I found e.l.f. makeup marked at 75 cents a piece. I purchased her makeup and some mascara for myself thinking I had scored a huge bargain as makeup that cheap had to be marked down at least 75%!
Well, I liked the mascara. It didn’t run when my eyes teared up and It went on smoothly and didn’t clump. So I went back to buy more and was disappointed to find that the discount I had received before was small, but pleased to find that the mascara that I liked was only $1.00. I have tried several of the items in the line since and while they all aren’t for me, they are all quality products.
E.l.f. has every makeup product and tool imaginable. From eye liner to eyelash curlers for the eye and nail polish to toe separators for your feet, you will find everything you are looking for in these products and most of these items are only $1.00. The obvious items cost more than $1.00 such as makeup cases, creme and lotion kits, and mineral makeup.
My biggest problem as of late is that I could not find e.l.f. makeup anymore. It is still sold in my local target, but the entire line is not available. When I have been out of state and needed an item, I have not been able to find it at Target or any other store. I guess there’s just not a big enough markup on $1.00 items. The good news is that e.l.f. makeup now has an online store. If you are worried about shipping costs don’t be. Shipping is only $1.98 at eyeslipsface.com and if you make a large order, shipping is free.
My final note is that when you purchase e.l.f. online be sure to only use their webstore as other sites, like drugstore.com sells the same makeup at a 50% markup.
