Fun and Excitement at Six Flags

Just about everyone has heard of Six Flags and while most people know about the main locations such as Texas, Missouri, Colorado, and California, chances are the extent of Six Flags is not realized. In all, 29 Six Flags parks exist in North America! Other states that offer this type of amusement park include Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Washington state. Because of this, you and your family can reach a Six Flags park no matter where you live. In fact, there is even a Six Flags in Mexico and Canada.

You will find more than 50 exciting rides at Six Flags, as well as various shows and other attractions. During the hot summer months, most Six Flags parks also have a connected water park, making for the perfect day. Even around Halloween, the parks offer a special family night filled with ghosts and goblins. The great thing is that the rides and entertainment accommodate any family member. For instance, the adults would love a song and dance show, the teenagers a thrilling roller coaster, and the smaller children, any of the special shows or rides designed for them.

The Halfpipe is an exciting thrill ride that can be enjoyed without boards. For this ride, there is a free-rotating circular car designed on a massive 39-foot long snowboard. With this snowboard resting securely on a halfpipe track, up to 16 people can experience the feel of flying down snow, taking various drops, and even 360-degree turns. Best of all, you can enjoy snowboarding in the “snow” without being outside in freezing temperatures.

The Flying Coaster is another favorite at Six Flags. For this, you would stand up on the ride, being tilted face down for take-off. What makes this Six Flag’s roller coaster different from others is the new prototype. Through all the ups, downs, and twists, you will have the most incredible view of the Denver downtown and gorgeous Rocky Mountains. Of course, Disaster Canyon is another rife you do not want to miss. This white-water rapids ride takes you through areas of waterfalls, geysers, and plenty of unexpected excitement.

Regardless of the location where you visit Six Flags, be prepared for one amazing time. With so many opportunities, you are guaranteed to have the time of your life. Now, I do not know about you, but I personally love when the kid in me creeps out. When we visited Six Flags in St. Louis, MO, you can be sure I had a blast. Best of all, the kids could not stop talking about the adventure. The park made such an impression that my son who just celebrated his 24th birthday chose to go back to Six Flags.
