Since there’s an app for almost everything these days, it should come as no surprise that there are plenty of apps out there that have been designed for pregnant women. There are the classic, practical apps like contraction timers and period trackers, but there are a few others out there that are a little more unique. I’ve looked around online and have come up with a few fun apps that you might like to try during your pregnancy.
If you or your partner love fantasy sports, you are sure to enjoy Baby Pool. Even if you have never played fantasy sports before, this app is fun because it lets players (friends, relatives, etc.) predict various things about your baby such as weight, length, and birth date. Once your baby is born, you can see who got the most “points” for guessing the most things correctly. Hey, everyone’s already guessing, so why not have a little fun with it.
Add a little pizzazz to your Facebook updates with Pimp My Ultrasound. You can use this app to add fun accessories, thought bubbles, and more to your ultrasound photos. Imagine the fun you can have when your child is older and you are able to show him his very first baby pictures from before he was born.
So you have your baby name list narrowed down to a select few and you still can’t decide? Why not try a fun app called Kick to Pick. This baby naming app with a clever twist supposedly senses your baby’s level of appreciation for a potential name by sensing his or her movement. Don’t like baby’s choice? Wait a couple of days and try again, or pick the name yourself – hopefully she will never know.
These are just a handful of the fun pregnancy – related apps that are out there. There are probably many others, and if you are stuck in the waiting room at your OB’s office for a while, you may want to take a look at a few more.
