It is always nice to get something for free. When something is given away for free, that would usually cost at least a few dollars to obtain, it makes that item suddenly become a little bit more special than you might have otherwise considered it to be. It isn’t always easy to find elusive freebies, but I have located a few really fun ones for you to check out.
On July, 5, 2011, you can get a free lego mini model. In order to take advantage of this deal you need to go to your local LEGO store. They do a free Monthly Mini Model Build every month. This time, the model is of a tiny lighthouse.
You cannot actually purchase this model from anywhere. The only way to get it is from a LEGO store on that particular day. You also have to be a child between the ages of 6 and 14. So, be sure to bring one with you!
What could be better on a hot July day than a cold, refreshing, Slurpee? How about a Slurpee that you can get for free? On July 11, 2011, all 7-11 stores will be giving away free Slurpees for one day only. They have been giving away free Slurpees on that date for a while now.
Why that date? It is because July 11, or 7/11, sounds a lot like the name of the 7-11 stores. If you want a reminder about this freebie, click “I’m attending” this event on their Facebook page.
Want something patriotic to listen to? As I am typing this blog, Amazon.com is allowing people to download free mp3s from the “Karaoke – 4th of July- American Independence Day Classics” album.
One can safely assume that their choice of music to give away for free was inspired by the Independence Day holiday. I cannot find any information on how long this freebie will last, so you may want to go there quick if this is something that interests you.
Want more free music? You can download all fourteen tracks from SPIN magazine’s July issue for free. You have to download this playlist from iTunes, and use the code: YYJW7YJHJYRL . (It appears on the page that talks about the free downloads). This code will expire on July 31, 2011. In order to take advantage of this freebie, you must live in the United States, have iTunes installed on your computer, and be at least thirteen years old.
