When you visit Carl’s Jr., what do you usually get? I think a lot of people go to a fast food restaurant because they are hungry enough to eat an entire meal, and not because they are looking for just a snack. Right now, you can get a coupon that will save you $1.00 off any large combo from Carl’s Jr..
Are you someone who has a favorite meal that you like to get every time you go to Carl’s Jr.? Or, do you like to mix things up, and try something different each time? I tend to pick something as a favorite for a while, and then switch to something else after I get tired of it. A favorite generally lasts for a few months for me, before I decide that there is another thing on the menu that sounds tastier.
There was a time when all I wanted was one of their smallest burgers, the Famous Star, which is a single burger. I get it without cheese most of the time. When that got less interesting, I switched to the Big Carl, which seems to be Carl’s Jr’s version of the McDonald’s Big Mac. I happen to think it tastes way better the the McDonald’s burger it was modeled after, but that’s just me.
Recently, I tried one of their new turkey burgers and was really impressed by how good it tasted, and that it was under 500 calories. This has become my new favorite thing to get.
Right now, you can get a coupon that will save you $1.00 off any large combo meal. Pick the sandwich you want, and get it with a large drink and large fries. It says “any” but there are some exclusions. You cannot use this coupon on the Big Hamburger or the Spicy Chicken sandwich. You must use this coupon before June 27, 2011.
Now, if you want to make this deal even better, you can do what my husband and I often do. One of us orders an entire combo meal, complete with drink and fries. The other one orders just a sandwich. We split the drink and the fries between us. This costs less than the price of two entire combo meals.
It is also a good way to ensure that you don’t mindlessly end up eating way more calories than you wanted to, (or should). This works out pretty well for us because I usually get full way before I even come close to finishing a large combo meal. Its just too much food for me.
