Nothing good on television tonight? Time to rent a movie! The easiest way seems to be to find the closest Redbox, and select a movie to rent from it. If you have never tried Redbox before, now is the perfect time. Go to the Redbox Facebook page and click “like” to get a code for a free one night movie rental. Free is good!
I have never tried Redbox, but I hear it is extremely convenient. There is one in the grocery store that we go to, which would make it really easy to pick up a movie before going home. You can find a Redbox located in grocery stores, malls, and other places that you are likely to be running errands at anyway. According to their Facebook page, Redbox is available at more than 26,000 locations nationwide. This includes grocery stores, as I have mentioned, but you can also find them at McDonalds, Walmart, and Walgreens.
It seems to me that Redbox is the next evolution of the Blockbuster stores that used to be all over the place. In today’s internet age, however, there really doesn’t seem to be a need for Blockbuster anymore. If you are getting cable, then you probably have more channels worth of television programs, movies, and sports events than you have time to watch.
The internet provides a lot of ways for a person to catch up on their favorite television shows, from today and from years ago. Websites like Hulu will offer you a subscription plan that will give you access to more than the free membership will. Netflix will send movies right to your mailbox, but my mailbox doesn’t have a lock on it, and I worry that the neighborhood kids will abscond with my latest Netflix selection before I have a chance to watch it. I know there are ways to download movies from the internet, but I honestly don’t know a whole lot about how that works.
I have heard from friends of mine that Redbox is awesome. It has a wide selection of movies, is convenient, and it doesn’t cost that much for you to rent a movie from it. It’s really easy to return the movie the next day, because the Redbox is located inside someplace that you were likely planning on going to, or going past, anyway. This offer of a free movie rental makes Redbox that much more interesting.
To get a code for a free one night movie rental, the first thing you have to do is log into your Facebook account. Next, find the Redbox page, and click the “like” button. This automatically gives you a free code to use on your next, (or first), DVD rental from Redbox. Now all you need to do is figure out what movie you are going to pick.
