Get a jump on fitness

The weather is warming up and before you know it swimsuit season will be here. Are you ready? There is still time to look and feel better for the beach. The key is starting today. Make one healthy choice and then make another. The more healthy decisions you make the closer you will be to your goal.

Tips to Jump Start Your Weight Loss and Fitness Routine.

*Start right now. No excuses. No delays. No last minute cheeseburger and fries.

*Go on a fruit and vegetable fast for two to three days. This fast can help clear your mind and your cravings. Once you come off of this fast you will be ready to make healthy decisions. Make sure you drink plenty of water.

*Drink water. It is that simple. Cut out sugary drinks, sodas, and juices. You do not want to drink your calories you want to eat them.

*Begin a fitness routine. Commit to becoming more physically active. Consider taking up a sport, walking daily, jogging in the mornings, or joining a gym. You can find workouts on Netflix or Google at home circuit training workouts for a simple at home solution. The point is to get moving and stay moving. You do not have to become an athlete but you will need to find a way to burn calories.

*Get your family involved. It is hard to stay on track without support. Include your family so you can support each other and work together. You will want some accountability when a cupcake looks tempting.

Have you lost weight in the past? Do you have some advice or encouragement for those just starting out on a new routine? Your words of encouragement mean so much to those needing that extra nudge to get started. Let’s support each other and in time our goals will reached.
