One of my favorite things is to get email from friends and readers telling me about something new or cool in the fitness world. So yesterday, I got an email about a site with a note that suggested it would make a great subject for a blog. What was this nugget that I was sent? It’s a fun little place called Get Fusion Fit.
So what is this place?
I logged in to check it out and here’s what I found.
It’s a free fitness coach. That’s right. A free fitness coach that provides you with workouts, diets and motivation. I’ve talked a lot about online fitness coaches here, but what sets Get Fusion Fit apart from the rest is there is no upfront costs, no enrollments, no need to submit a credit card and so far, apparently no catch.
The first four weeks are ‘free’. That’s a great hook and a great way to get you launched in a supportive fitness direction. The site is related to the Ford Automotive Company as indicated by the Fusion in the title.
When you log in, you’re presented with a series of question. They want to find out what you like to eat. They want to know how you like to workout. They want to know how much time you have. They use that data to formulate a personalized program to fit your food and exercise preferences as well as your work schedule and your abilities.
The components are personalized to your taste and your abilities. There will be fitness goals and strength assessments. The idea is to give you the most amount of information and let you do the work. You can update the program regularly with new information or changes to the actual fitness components.
Another benefit of the service is that you can receive your workouts in a variety of fashions. You can receive a daily email, or a day before email or check your program on the website. This provides you with the flexibility that benefits every type of fitness a person can be seeking to achieve.
You will create a unique program for yourself. So I think it’s worth visiting Get Fusion Fit and giving it a shot. You may surprise yourself – and even if you only get one full week’s worth of exercise out of it – movement forward is movement.
