For $280 per room per night you’ll receive accommodations in a standard room that comfortably fits four people, plus you’ll get a day’s 19-foot-power-boat rental; a waterski and rope or an innertube and rope to enhance the boat ride; boxed lunch for four; a $50 resort credit good for rentals, shopping, food and beverages, or lake cruises. The deal is good through Oct. 31, 2008.
PENNSYLVANIA
For $350 per room per night you’ll receive accommodations at the picturesque Skytop Lodge, which is set among 5,500 acres in the Pocono Mountains about two hours from Philadelphia or New York City. The rate also includes three meals and afternoon tea daily. Complimentary outdoor activities such as golfing, mountain biking, kayaking or canoeing on the resort’s 75-acre lake are also include in the package price. The $350 rate is for midweek stays. You’ll pay $375 per room per night on weekends. The offer expires on April 30, 2008.
NEW YORK
The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, New York is celebrating its 99th anniversary with several travel packages, including the Cooperstown Museum Experience. The deal includes two tickets to the nearby National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, a souvenir magazine, a keepsake Cooperstown picture frame, as well as two tickets to the Farmer’s Museum, two tickets to the Fenimore Art Museum, a token for a ride on the Empire State Carousel, discount coupons for shops at the resort and area museums, a tote bag, and a gift from one of the museums. Breakfast and dinner daily are also included in the price. Rates start at $480 per room per night (kids under 5 years of age stay free; those 5 to 18 cost $50 each per night) and the offer expires on November 30, 2008.
