Right now REI is offering a Mount Rainier Classic Hike package for just $495 per person. The prices cover tents, all meals, campsite and entrance fees, and transportation between Seattle and the campsite. The trip starts with you meeting up with other participants and your guide at REI’s store in Tukwila, Washington. From there you will head to Mount Rainier National Park to set up camp. The next two days will be spent hiking by towering waterfalls, serene alpine meadows with wildflowers, and to the foot of enormous glaciers. Note: the package deal is only being offered on the following dates: July 11-13 and 25-27; August 22-24; and September 5-7 and 19-21.

KIRKLAND

The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland (a suburb of Seattle, about a 20-minute drive east of the city) is enticing visitors to the city’s annual wine/food/art/music festival with a great package deal. You can get in on all the festivities offered at Kirkland Uncorked with two admission tickets, plus stay overnight in a room of your choice and receive a $40 food credit at the hotel for just $249 per night. The tickets to the festival include entrance to the wine-tasting garden (a $40 value). The deal is good from July 18-20, 2008.

PORT LUDLOW

The Resort at Port Ludlow is offering an incredible summer deal dubbed the Dine and Unwind package. For just $199 you’ll receive a $100 credit for dinner for two at the resort’s restaurant, which boasts spectacular views of the majestic Olympic Mountains, complimentary continental breakfast and a night’s lodging.
