Yesterday we discussed responding to your customers through Facebook. Being responsive, having engaging status updates, and tagging will gain help you grow your page. You will have to continue to do all of these things to sustain growth. In addition you can create a community and offer exclusive content to help boost your fan base and keep fans as customers.
Create a Community
You want more to build more than a page you want to build a community. This may sound like a lot of work but the more engaged you are with your customers the more fun this process will be. Make your page a place where your customers can be heard and voice opinions. Ask questions that spark a conversation and not a single comment. You want your customers to keep coming back to your page and have your brand on their mind. Use the discussion application to create a forum for your customers. Encourage them to get in on the discussion or create discussions of their own. Ask your customers to upload photos, videos or share their blog or business on your page. Ask your customers to post photos of them using your product. You can offer a prize for the best photo. The best photo can be determined by other fans. This will spark those who put up a photo to tell their friends and family to “like” your site so they can vote for their photo.
Exclusive Content
Your customers are special and you need to make them feel special by rewarding them with exclusive content. On my page I offer free downloadable unit studies, copywork books, or printables every Friday. You have to be a fan to obtain the freebies. The freebies stay up all week until I replace them with others. Those who get the free material often post it on their walls for others to see which gains you more fans. What exclusive offers, coupons or content can you offer?
