Tired of having his face rubbed in the fact that his ex-wife left him for a hunky pro baseball player, Guy Ritchie is striking back with a new love interest of his own.
According to reports, Madonna’s ex is courting millionaire heiress Jemima Khan. The two reportedly attended a London dinner party together earlier this month where they spent some “quality time” together. London’s Telegraph reports that 33-year-old Khan, the socialite daughter of Lady Annabel Goldsmith and the late financier Sir James Goldsmith, has captured Ritchie’s heart.
Khan divorced her Pakistani cricket player husband Imran Khan back in 2004. The couple has two sons, now 12 and 9. Most recently Khan was attached to actor Hugh Grant, though that relationship has ended, says British newspapers. In addition, Khan has also been seen out with a newly single Simon Cowell.
No word on how serious Ritchie and Khan have gotten since the director’s divorce became official a few weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the alleged romance between Madonna and her hunky baseball beau Alex Rodriguez has yet to fizzle, according to reports. In fact, Star Magazine is reporting that the pro athlete plans to join the singer on a trip to Malawi early next year to help her bring home another adopted child.
Reports say the pop superstar just completed paperwork to adopt a 4-year-old girl named Mercy James from Malawi, the same African country where the Material Girl adopted her son David Banda in 2006.
The magazine says the girl’s grandfather has confirmed the exchange will occur next month. James’ mother reportedly died, at age 18, just days after giving birth to her daughter.
No word on whether Rodriquez, who has two young daughters of his own, plans to help Madonna raise Mercy of if he is merely accompanying the singer to Malawi because he has nothing better to do in the off-season.
