Ready to decorate your desktop for Halloween? Then you’ll want the best wallpapers out there. Whether you want something truly scary, something with just a little spook, or something tame, these websites will give you a lot of options to choose from. You may need to go out and get another computer just so you won’t have to choose!
And if you really want some Halloween desktop fun, why not check out the Halloween screen savers that many of these websites also offer.
Let us start with the aptly named, FreeHalloweenScreenSavers.com. There is a lot here on this site, and the images are full of quality. You’ll find a lot of computer rendered haunted houses set on spooky moors with plenty of spoke and mist. The wallpapers are realistic in a fantasy type way. There is nothing cartoonish about these images. For most images, you can choose among four different types of resolution. There is the standard 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768, but you’ll also find resolution for the Sony PSP and Zune.

Next, let’s look at Free Halloween Wallpapers, also aptly named. I guess creators of wallpapers use up all of their creativity on the images themselves. There are only six wallpapers to choose from here, and they look to be all of one resolution, probably 1024 x 768. You computer should be able to shrink the images as needed for your desktop, but keep in mind that the file sizes are large and the images might not set up right on the screen. Normally, I would pass by a website that offers such restrictions, but I included it here because the images are so unusual. You’ll find all of the images to be strange with one or two that are brilliantly abstract. There are no other offers on this site, so don’t worry about finding the images.
