Harrison Ford Gets Hitched, Kate Hudson Gets a New Guy, and Chris Klein Gets Arrested

What started with an “accidental” spilling of wine at the 2002 Golden Globes has now ended in marriage. Actress Calista Flockhart finally got her man as she and Harrison Ford wed Tuesday in New Mexico where he is filming Cowboys and Aliens. The wedding was held at the Governor’s Mansion and conducted by Governor Bill Richardson.

The couple has been together since it was reported that Flockhart purposefully spilled the wine on Ford in order to get to meet him. Ford proposed last Valentine’s Day. In 2001, the actress adopted son Liam but since the couple have been together for eight years, it seems that he already thinks of Ford as daddy anyhow.

Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez have apparently split as Hudson has been seen around town with a new beau. Who is he? Matthew Bellamy, a 32-year-old English rocker. Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight series, thanked Bellamy and his band Muse for providing inspiration in “Breaking Dawn.” Muse songs were even used in the original Twilight and Eclipse soundtracks.

Bellamy, a Lady Gaga fan, was dating Italian psychologist Gaia Polloni for several years before the two ended their romance at the end of 2009. Lucky for Kate, huh?

Actor Chris Klein of American Pie and Election fame was arrested early Wednesday morning under suspicion of drunk driving. Klein was traveling along the Hollywood Freeway when he was pulled over by California Highway Patrol. Sources for CHiP say that Klein, 31, was tested and his alcohol level was three times that of the legal limit of.08.

This isn’t Klein’s first DUI. He was pulled over in San Diego County in 2005. TMZ is saying Klein could face up to four days in jail – four days? Really? For his second offense of DUI? Well, that should show him! That’s almost as laughable as Nicole Richie’s 82 minutes served for driving under the influence in 2006. Still, as a multiple offender, Klein may be forced to use a Breathalyzer machine to start his car as per the new law that takes effect in July.
