I have recently gotten a new health plan. This prompted further investigation on my part as to any entitlement in additional health discounts on my new plan. I was happy to find that there were several discounts available for my use just by showing the company my new health plan identification card. Probably the best benefit that I found was for Bally’s. However, there were benefits for Jenny Craig, Jazzercise, Weight Watcher’s and more. I do not know if I will make any use of them, but it is nice to know that they are there just in case I am able to.
I am also receiving money back from my health plan by assessing and keeping a diary of my attempts at good health every day. When I lost a great deal of weight back a few years ago my way of eating has changed a great deal. I am literally more thoughtful before I put food into my mouth, which I had not done prior to my weight loss. I can honestly keep this diary and truly say that I am practicing good eating and exercising attempts.

Some of the benefits that your health insurance plans offer may not seem like much, but even a little bit should help you in some small way. Most YMCA’s offer programs at a discounted rate for major health insurance plans.
Getting fit and healthy need not take a lot of money with fancy exercise programs and special foods to buy. The cost can be as excessive or as minimal as you want it to be. The bottom line in losing weight is get moving and eat less. That is what will bring you success in your weight loss plan.
