It never ceases to amaze me how celebrities are coming out of the wood works to offer advice and help to Britney Spears. Who is the latest celebrity to offer her advice and help? It is none other than “Project Runway” host and model Heidi Klum.
Heidi has said in an interview that Britney can come and live with her, hubby Seal, and their three children. The supermodel says her family would welcome Britney with open arms to help her put her life back together. Associated Press is saying Heidi said, “She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months. I would help set her straight.” Heidi went on to say, “I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track. She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life.”
Heidi believes that Britney could benefit from her stable home life. She says that she has never been happier than she is today with the “man of my life” and her three children.
Well, Heidi certainly sets the designers straight on “Project Runway,” maybe she COULD help Britney. Someone certainly needs to!
I blogged last week about CW cutting WWE’s “Smackdown” out of its schedule because it did not quite fit the network’s image. Now they have cut another show – “Girlfriends.”
“Girlfriends” has been on CW for eight seasons, which makes it currently the longest running live-action sitcom on network television. The show covers the ups and downs of women’s lives including relationships, careers, and children. It has often been referred to as the “African American version of Sex and the City.” The creator and executive producer Mara Brock Akil said “Although it’s always difficult to say goodbye, I choose to focus my energy on the history that Girlfriends has made, the human stories that we told, the beautifully complex images that we projected and the blessings 172 episodes bestowed on us, both personally and professionally.”
Akil is in talks with CW to do a special retrospective episode of “Girlfriends” to pay tribute to the show and its history.
