“Heroes” cuties Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have denied a romance, but the rumors certainly have been circulating that these two have a little something something going on between them. Both have strongly denied a love connection between the just turned 18 actress and the 30 year old actor. Even co-star James Kyson Lee, who plays Ando on the hit show, has said, “the rumor is not true.”
So what started all this talk of amour? There is a video that some clown obviously took on his cell phone that shows the two – gasp – dancing and even at hugging one point at the Duran Duran concert that was held after the Emmys. Oh my!
I don’t know, I wasn’t that convinced but you can see the video for yourself at Youtube.com.
I blogged about the Phil Spector murder scandal long ago, but you know how slowly justice moves sometimes. The trial was held this summer, but was recently declared a mistrial by Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler. Why the mistrial? The jury of nine men and three women were deadlocked at 10 – 2 and could not reach a verdict after 12 days.
Fidler didn’t say which way they were leaning, but a court representative said the 10 were for a guilty verdict in the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, age 40. She was shot and killed at Spector’s mansion home in Alhambra, CA on February 3, 2003. Spector has since said she committed suicide, but he was charged with second-degree murder.
Los Angeles DA Steve Cooley said that they would seek to retry the case with the court’s permission and hope to start preparations immediately. Spector is best known for creating the famed “Wall of Sound” technique in the 1960s. His last album, End of the Century, was made in 1980 with the punk band The Ramones. Dee Dee Ramone has said Spector threatened him with a gun during the session.
