Hershey’s Tricks Or Treats Online

jack o lantern Want a fun website that is packed with more treats than tricks? Check out the Hershey Chocolate website, where you’ll find many more treats than tricks.

The Hershey’s Tricks Or Treats website is a lot of fun. When you first get to the main tricks or treats page, you are greeted with a little town at night. Spooky sounds, such as the howling moon play in the background. The sound can be adjusted or turned off, but it is really not obnoxious (no eerie screams, just one or two witchy cackles and nothing really scary). Once in a while strange little things happen in town, such as a lone pumpkin rolling through the streets. I’ll leave the other secrets for you to discover.

Below the town are text links, if you prefer you activities to get right to the point.

The houses or website sections are divided into the following options:

Creepy Downloads. You’ll find spooky screen savers, animated e-cards, desktop wallpapers and some fun Halloween clipart. Unfortunately, I was hoping, or maybe expected for a kid in a Halloween costume eating chocolate, but I was disappointed.

Crafts & Activities. Cool stuff here includes a video that instructs on the art of pumpkin decorating, invitations to create, homemade costume ideas, pumpkin stencils, party games and more.

Freaky Fun Stuff. Quizzes and a haunted coloring book will wait for you here.

Promotions. This section gives you information on fun Halloween happenings at Hershey Park in Hershey, Pa. We’ve been to the park and chocolate world one summer. It is hard was to leave without at least $25 worth of candy. I can only image what it is like near Halloween time.

Ghostly Treats. This section offers some Halloween recipes and showcases new Hershey’s treats and gifts.

Parent Teacher Goodies. If you are looking for fun ways to keep students motivated and reward them, you’ll find it all here. There are stickers, mad libs and a little redundancy with clip art and the safety quiz (again).

Happy treating.
