Just in time for the holidays Hollywood celebs are swaddling their greatest gifts… babies, babies, babies.
Up first, former Sopranos star Drea de Matteo is a new mom. According to her rep, the actress gave birth to a baby girl, Alabama Gypsy Rose, Wednesday night.
Alabama’s daddy is de Matteo’s musician boyfriend of six years, Shooter Jennings (the son of the late country legend Waylon Jennings).
The new bundle of joy is the first child for the couple.
In a few months, perhaps, baby Alabama can hook up for a playdate with Lou Diamond Phillips’ new daughter.
Phillips and his wife of three months, makeup artist Yvonne Marie welcomed their first child Indigo Sanara last month, according to their rep.
The La Bamba star married Indigo’s mom three months ago following a rough patch in their relationship. Phillips pleaded no contest to a domestic battery charge upon Yvonne, his then-girlfriend. According to PEOPLE magazine, Yvonne agreed to marry Phillips after he attended counseling sessions.
Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives actor Peter Reckell and his wife, singer Kelly Moneymaker are busy with their own new daughter. According to Soap Opera Digest, Moneymaker gave birth to 6 pound, 9-ounce baby girl they named Loden Reckell last month.
Finally, she’s considered one of the most famous babies in the world, and when Suri Cruise toddles over to the Christmas tree next month, she’ll find something that will likely put her back in the headlines: A pair of custom made shoes from Christian Louboutin.
According to OK! Magazine, Suri’s super star parents—-Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes–had a mold made of their 19-month-old moppet’s foot, which is being used to handcraft her designer stomps to her “exact specifications.” The cost of the mold is reportedly upwards of $2,500, and depending on their selection, Tom and Katie can expect to shell out anywhere from $500 to $5,000 for the shoes themselves.
