She just added new mom to her resume, but Nicole Richie says she’s not stopping there.
The self-professed “girly-girl” is bringing her love of bling to the masses by creating her own line of costume jewelry.
The former reality TV star has teamed up with Mouawad, the company who also produces Heidi Klum’s fine jewelry collection, to create a line for young women. According to company execs, Richie approves all sketches prior to production.
As for how the new mom is juggling her role as designer and full time dairy queen to her breastfeeding infant, Richie insists that she has been successful at scheduling her work around her daughter’s feedings.
In fact, the schedule is reportedly working out so well that Richie is planning to create a new fragrance line. Meanwhile, she says she still plans to unveil an infant and children’s wear line later this year.
If Richie needs advice on how to balance motherhood with other projects she could turn to actress Gwyneth Paltrow. The Academy Award winner is a mother of two young children and just took on the job of ambassador for the Save The Children charity.
The “Shakespeare In Love” star will reportedly play an active role in the organization’s three-year plan to reduce the number of kids dying from preventable diseases around the world.
Finally, Brooke Burke, who just became a mom for the fourth time, should concentrate less on juggling her business and more on choosing a name for her new son.
According to the Burke, she and her actor fiancé David Charvet are still negotiating what name to give to their now 3-week-old son. She also confirmed that the baby left the hospital without a birth certificate.
“We’re really, really close [to a name],” the 36-year-old former TV host told PEOPLE magazine. “We’ve agreed on the first and the last, and we’re still fighting on the middle.”
The couple’s only son joins daughter, Rain, 1, and Burke’s two daughters – Neriah, 7, and Sierra, 5 – from a previous marriage.
