Hollywood Starlets Making Headlines

Maybe all that dancing (if you can call it that) did something to her brain cells.

Reality TV star turned “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Kim Kardashian is back in the headlines to clear up a rumor… she started.

The curvy socialite recently referred to her pro football player boyfriend Reggie Bush as her “hubby.” Now, Kardashian is furiously backpedaling saying the reports of her secretly wedding the New Orleans Saints star was all part of an online joke.

Talk about a joke…

Several news publications and a slew of Internet gossip sites went crazy earlier this week when Kardashian used her personal website to hint that she and Bush had gotten hitched in a private ceremony.

“I said hubby as a joke,” Kardashian insisted late Thursday. “Reggie said, ‘Don’t use boyfriend, it’s so typical.’ He said, ‘Write hubby or baby.’ Everyone thought I was married.”

While not legally committed to Bush right now, Kardashian maintains she and her athletic boyfriend will wed some day in the not so distant future.

Wedding rumors have also surrounded Kardashian’s former BFF Paris Hilton as well. But now “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest is stepping in to set the record straight about the hotel heiress’ martial status.

According to Seacrest, Hilton is not planning to marry beau Benji Madden anytime soon, especially since she has a new project in the works. According to Seacrest, he is planning to film a sitcom starring none other than the former jailbird in all her glory.

Seacrest told reporters that he is working with Hilton on a new TV show that will be based on her lavish Hollywood lifestyle.

“Paris is going to star in it,” Seacrest told TV’s “Access Hollywood.” “Paris is going to play a very clever and funny Paris Hilton. Some of things that she encounters are really interesting. And if we pepper in a little bit of script, I think it’s going to be very funny.”

What a joke.
