Hollywood’s Single Girls Speak Out

Taking her cue from Demi Moore or Brad Garrett’s ex-wife, “Baywatch” star Carmen Electra says she is still “very good friends” with her rocker ex-husband Dave Navarro—-despite having split from him more than a year ago.

Electra says while they are no longer romantically involved they are still “very close.”

“We talk on the phone all the time, almost every day,” Electra recently told PEOPLE Magazine. “It’s been great because we’ve been able to stay friends.”

You’ll recall the pair starred on the MTV reality show “Til Death Do Us Part.” So was appearing on the show the kiss of death for their relationship? According to Electra, the reason the couple broke it off was simple—they couldn’t live with each other.

Now that they don’t share the same house Electra says she and Navarro get along great and she doesn’t get why people question how close she remains to her former flame.

“We were friends to begin with. Why wouldn’t you want to stay friends with someone that you share such a big part of your life with?”

As for whether she is ready to share her home and her heart with a new love Electra says she is “fine being single.” She also denied rumors that she was briefly dating actor Jamie Foxx. Electra says she is now concentrating on her own life and her upcoming movie, which she returned to her original hair color for. The actress is now sporting dark chocolate colored hair.

Ironically, singer Jessica Simpson just ditched her brown locks for her “original” blond ones. (She made the switch shortly after calling it quits with ex-flame John Mayer.)

As for what other modifications Simpson may make now that she is single again, the former Mrs. Nick Lachey says she wouldn’t rule out having plastic surgery. (Simpson’s younger sister Ashlee has already gone under the knife.)

“I’ve had none,” Jessica says in the August issue of Bazaar. “But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my belly button, I would get them lifted. … Maintenance. But you know, my boobs are real.”

Thanks for sharing.
