Home School Blogger Spotlight: Itsy Bitsy Learners

Itsy Bitsy Learners was conceived by Alison out of love for preschool education. Alison has earned a BA, with honor, in Early Childhood Studies. She is originally from the UK and previously worked at the Henry Tyndale School with Autistic Children. In addition, she worked in Nagoya, Japan at an International Early Years Program. Excelling in her job there she was granted two promotions in six months! She then married and immigrated to Texas. Whew! She certainly has a wealth of experience, exposure and energy. Alison is currently a stay at home mom with two children who undoubtedly benefit from all her experience. Guess what? You and your little ones can also benefit from her experience through Itsy Bitsy Learners.

Itsy Bitsy Learners is a beautiful blog in design and easy to navigate. She covers all topics related to preschool from arts and crafts to teaching the alphabet. Currently she has an array of beautiful Valentine’s Day activities to share and a sensory tub with such fun items. Great ideas which she delivers in a realistic and affordable way for all seasons, holidays and the everyday. If you are stuck for a fun activity for the day or looking to make a special craft for grandma or daddy, you found the right place.

Printables, printables, printables! Every homeschooler, preschool teacher, day care provider and babysitter at one time or another looks online for engaging and fun printables for their little ones. Itsy Bitsy Learners has a tab to click for Pre-K Printables. You will be brought to a land of printables to engage even the most wiggly giggly little ones. You will find such topics as alphabet, Christmas, circus, space, Thanksgiving, under the seas, and so much more. Some are free and some are well worth the small fee.

I encourage you to visit this lovely blog full of creative ideas. Alison thinks on Monday mornings so you don’t have to. I have visited her more than once on days when I just could not think of something to do and it saved the day.
