Home Week in Review: October 8 – 14

How is the weather where you live? Does it feel like fall or do all these autumn articles feel a little out of place, considering it still feels like summer in many areas?

I find myself having a little trouble really getting into autumn, especially on days when it’s in the 80’s and 90’s. It seems as if it’s going to start cooling down now, and then it may begin to feel a bit more like fall. Not that I’m complaining about the beautiful weather, not at all, it just makes it a little harder to realize that we really are half way through October. It feels more like we should be getting ready for Labor Day than Halloween (at least to me).

So, where are you in your fall and holiday plans? Are you getting ready or are you content to relax for a little while longer yet? Either way, Mary Ann and I hope that you will find some of this week’s articles useful:
