I love baking treats for the pups, and I love that Lisa’s recipe is totally people-friendly too! (If you’ve got a hankerin’ to split a biscuit with your puppies, you don’t have to worry about any sketchy ingredients! I’ve never quite been brave enough to sample store-bought treats once I’ve looked at the ingredients.)

The highest praise for these treats came NOT from the five dogs in the family (who all loved them!) but from my BROTHER, who said that we should put them out for the whole family to eat at Christmas. Seriously! And having eaten one or two myself, I can wholly agree. What’s not to love? Peanut butter, crunchy Grape Nuts cereal, crushed peanuts… okay, maybe I ate more than two. I had to fight my Lally and my brother’s Lily Biscuits for them – they’re both peanut butter freaks!
At least I’m not the only person sampling the dog treats… one of the Amazon reviewers says that her husband likes the Bleu Cheese Walnut Training Treats!
You Bake Em Dog Biscuits has recipes for pups of all shapes, sizes, and constitutions. Have a dog with a wheat allergy? There is a whole section of recipes for wheat-free treats. Is Rover a little rotund? You’ll find plenty of low fat snackies for your baby.
